Prices, rules, and policies — stated plainly. If your question isn't here, ask us directly and we'll reply within one business day.
We accept check, wire, ACH, and credit card payments. Note that credit card payments incur a 3.5% processing fee, and processing fees are non-refundable (including on the deposit, if you pay that by card). As with all wires, be careful that you're sending the wire to the right place. The account name should be Taoti Enterprises, Inc. (The 507's parent company.)
A public event is any event open to the general public. You'll need to contract with a certified security company — one officer per 50 attendees on-site. If alcohol is served (even complimentary), you'll need a temporary ABRA-compliant liquor license or an ABRA-licensed caterer, on file with us 14 days before the event.
If alcohol is sold at any event, private or public, you must obtain a temporary ABRA-compliant liquor license or hire an ABRA-licensed caterer. The license must be on file with Taoti 14 days before the event date.
Yes — bring your own food/drink, hire your own caterer, or work with one of our preferred catering vendors. Just let us know the plan, particularly if you want to use our kitchen.
No. If you're hosting a private party — a birthday, a holiday party — and bringing your own food and beverage to enjoy among friends or co-workers, no special license is needed.
As soon as the event is ticketed (even if free), public, or any sale of alcohol is going on. Then you'll need a one-day license and/or an ABRA-certified on-site manager. The easiest path: use a caterer whose catering license lets them serve and sell alcohol.
Load-in can begin at 8AM and load-out must be complete by 1AM in both spaces. Extended hours are available for an hourly fee.
Two options: the bay door off the alley behind the building, or the garage doors right on Barracks Row out front. Both have a curb; we have a steel ramp for anything on wheels.
Via the front door and up a flight of stairs. Heads up: there's no elevator to the upstairs Lounge.
Yes — a venue manager is always on-site to make sure the venue works for your event. They're not your event planner, though. If you want planning or production help, we offer both — just ask.
Leave it as you found it: broom-swept, garbage bagged and in the dumpster out back, and all decorations and personal property removed. Excessive mess requiring extra cleanup comes out of your security deposit.
A considerable amount — tables and chairs, mobile bars, A/V, lighting, and staging. Email hello@the507events.com for the complete list.
No — all equipment rented from The 507 is set up by The 507, which involves a labor cost. You're welcome to bring your own equipment or use another company instead.
Yes — caterers, decorators, production companies, security, entertainers. Vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance ($1M single limit / $2M aggregate) naming Taoti Enterprises as an additional insured, delivered at least 14 days before the event.
A security deposit is required at booking. It's fully refundable, less any amounts withheld for damages, within 48 hours of vacating. Any deductions are itemized and explained — and where feasible, you'll get the chance to remedy the situation first.
Fail to clean up per policy. Fail to be completely out of the space on time. Violate the house rules. (We'd rather give it all back — help us help you.)
For any non-personal event: liability insurance with a $1M single limit and $2M general aggregate, naming Taoti Enterprises, Inc. as an additional insured. Certificate due no later than 14 days before the event.
